Thursday morning, May 10, the historical center was abuzz with Pennsylvania Dutch chatter as we entertained a group of visitors from Clark, Missouri. Names represented were Borntrager, Shetler, Petersheim, and Yoder. They were interested in the history of Amish in our area with a particular emphasis  on the Isaac Miller Family of Miller Rd. They checked out the barn, visited the Amish Cemetery on Meridian Road, and on to see the Amish built houses on Miller Road and Kenagy Lane. They planned to travel on, via bus, to visit Aurora and the previously Amish area in Amity. They were accompanied by a guide from Halsey and a bus driver.
